Abstrak

Manajemen event merupakan proses yang kompleks dan memerlukan pendekatan manajerial yang sistematis agar penyelenggaraan kegiatan berjalan efektif dan efisien. Siklus Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) dipandang sebagai pendekatan yang relevan karena menekankan perbaikan berkelanjutan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan siklus PDCA dalam manajemen event serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan menganalisis berbagai artikel jurnal dan sumber ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa PDCA mampu memberikan kerangka kerja yang terstruktur dalam pengelolaan event, mulai dari perumusan tujuan hingga evaluasi dan perbaikan berkelanjutan. Penerapan PDCA didukung oleh komitmen sumber daya manusia, komunikasi tim yang efektif, sistem kerja yang terstruktur, serta budaya evaluasi. Namun, keterbatasan waktu dan anggaran, rendahnya pemahaman PDCA, minimnya dokumentasi, dan sifat event yang temporer menjadi hambatan utama dalam implementasinya.
