Alleged Research Ethics Violations

Edu Society takes any allegations of research or publication ethics violations seriously and addresses them in accordance with the workflows established by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).

What Constitutes an Ethical Violation
Fabrication or falsification of data, images, or research results.
Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, as well as redundant or duplicate publication.
Authorship-related violations, such as failing to include contributors or including individuals who did not contribute to the work.
Undisclosed conflicts of interest, citation manipulation, or other research ethics violations (e.g., lack of informed consent from research subjects or absence of ethical approval).
Misuse of the peer-review process, including breaches of confidentiality.

How to Report
Anyone may report concerns or alleged violations to the Editor-in-Chief via email at: edusocietyjurnal@gmail.com. Please provide details regarding the article or manuscript in question, along with supporting evidence. The identity of the person reporting the issue will be kept confidential.

Handling Procedures
The editorial team will acknowledge receipt of the report and conduct an initial assessment of the evidence provided.
If the report is deemed substantive, the author(s) will be asked to provide a written explanation.
If necessary, the editorial team may contact the author’s institution and seek input from relevant experts.
The editorial team will determine the appropriate follow-up actions, which may include: taking no further action, publishing a correction, issuing an expression of concern, rejecting the manuscript, or retracting the article.
