Publication Shedule

Edu Society: Jurnal Pendidikan, Ilmu Sosial dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat is a scholarly journal in the field of education, published 3 times a year as follows:
(1) February-May
(2) June-September
(3) October-Januari

Edu Society: Jurnal Pendidikan, Ilmu Sosial dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat is committed to maintaining consistency and punctuality in its publication schedule as part of its responsibility to disseminate educational research findings.

Manuscript Processing Time
Manuscripts must be submitted via the Edu Society OJS platform. The processing of a manuscript; from the initial submission to publication, takes a minimum of 6–8 (six to eight) weeks. During this period, the manuscript undergoes the following stages:
(1) initial editorial screening (administrative checks, template compliance, and similarity/plagiarism checks);
(2) peer review and subsequent revisions by the author(s);
(3) copyediting and final review;
(4) publication.

The total processing time may be extended depending on the speed at which the author(s) complete revisions and the outcomes of the peer review process. Authors are advised to plan their submission accordingly, taking these timeframes into account.

Submission Deadlines for Each Issue
Given a minimum processing time of 2 months, manuscripts should be submitted no later than the following dates to be considered for a specific issue:
First Issue (February–May): Submission deadline is April.
Second Issue (June–September): Submission deadline is August.
Third Issue (October–January): Submission deadline is December.

Manuscripts received after these deadlines, or those for which the revision process has not been completed, will be deferred to the subsequent issue. Submission before these deadlines does not guarantee publication in a specific issue.

Schedule Changes
Should there be any changes to the publication schedule, information will be provided via an announcement on the official website of Edu Society: Jurnal Pendidikan, Ilmu Sosial dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat.
